About Sasha
Sasha Hodder is a seasoned attorney in the Bitcoin industry. She founded Hodder Law Firm to help entrepreneurs navigate the wide array of regulations aimed at the crypto industry.
An entrepreneur at heart, Sasha co-founded VC500 in 2016, an SEC-regulated crowdfunding portal designed to democratize equity financing for small companies. She also plays a key role in shaping technology policy as a board member of the Florida Blockchain Business Association, advocating for Florida’s position as a leader in emerging technology regulations.
Sasha is deeply committed to education within the Bitcoin industry, contributing to leading publications such as Bitcoin Magazine, CoinDesk, and Hackernoon. She offers Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits for lawyers who study crypto law and hosts the HODLCast, which features in-depth interviews with hundreds of legal experts in the crypto space.
In the Industry
As Senior Counsel at Exodus Wallet, Sasha spearheaded the company’s groundbreaking SEC-approved Regulation A+ tokenized stock offering, setting a new standard for the industry. Her deep expertise in money transmission regulations has also led her to serve as an expert witness, successfully defending a wrongfully indicted Bitcoin ATM operator.
Sasha’s negotiation skills have been instrumental in securing substantial reductions in regulatory fines for crypto companies, achieving settlements at a fraction of the proposed amounts. Previously, as Vice President of Sales at NEI Investments, she pioneered the development of credit union distribution channels, driving record sales in the mid-cap mining sector.
